It's continuous fourth day that the city- Pokhara has not seen any rainfall. Even though the city is known as the rain-capital of Nepal, the drought is making people's life harder. Days are very hot and sunny but nights and evenings are as normal as before. The characteristic of Pokhara is the raining generally in the evening time if the day is hot and sunny but this trend has been broken during these four days. Why is it being so? Is it an effect of global warming? Anyway I hope the city will see the rainfall soon and we will enjoy it as before.

My stomach's size now seems very fit according to my body size. But it was a bit larger until last year. At that time my friends used to suggest me to minimize its size and later I achieved success as well. These days I am very happy but my mom is not because I hold smaller belly than before. She wants to see me with a big belly; not only she, most of my neighbors in village consider good if one has big belly. Very few people from village understand the negative part of excessive belly. Now what shall I do, go with friend or mom? No doubt, in this case, I would like to go with my friends.

Before I getting up in the morning today, I heard some whispers outside of my bedroom. I later found that the noises were from school children that were collecting donations from the pedestrians along the roadside in the name of Red Cross. As I was moving for my office, another group of such children caught me and asked for help. First I asked them about the purpose of the donations from the people. "It goes to the poor" they replied. Then I donated $ 0.3 them and got a pin and a slip of paper where world Red Cross Day (May-8) was written.

Though Nepal is said the second richest country of the world in water resource, we have been partially facing the problem of load shedding for months. Last evening, not only last evening, we generally go Crazy-land where the facility of light is available through generator or batteries. There I happened to see a large and strong dog last evening but it was not aggressive. May be it belongs to the owner of the bowling center. The dog was very attractive and always obeying its master but was not caring the others who were trying to order him to fulfill their interests and want to make the environment funny. My friend Ram dia alone owns 3 dogs these days but they all are small in size and one was brought from the mountainside when we were on trekking in Annapurna Region of Nepal.

Yesterday we watched the documentary about April Movement of Nepal and it was produced by an association of photo journalists (NFPJ) of Pokhara. Though the day remained rainy, evening was very clear that we enjoyed with that documentary. It is the spot where the Bhimsen Dahal was shot at by the then Royal Nepal Army during the April Movement in king's regime. It is Mahendrapul and now is known as Bhimsen Chok by the name of Bhimsen who is the first martyr of April Movemet that occurred last year in Nepal.
